Closet Organizer

To better explain how I came to this new style of coaching as closet organizer, I write a little about my view of wearing clothes.

Clothing is part of our lives for most of us, like it or not, we need to dress for just about everything. Our clothes and accessories are influencers of many things. Successes, failures, admiration, passions, ambitions and more. And also a reflection of what e want to accomplish and our daily feelings.  Our society requires a certain “look” for every occasion, for different climates, and for all ages. Each with their own preferences, and cultural influences. Dressing up is essential, and requires attention. I’m here to help you organize your clothes, to dress better, and with more pleasure.

From experience I know it can take hours for some of us to get ready, and it an get bery frustrating and irritation at times. It is extremely important to have a well-organized wardrobe. At one point in my life, I  had 4 closets scattered in 4 different cities at the same time. different countries, adverse climates. Crazy! Sometimes I was in Montreal  and wanted a shirt that was in Miami, or I would be in Rio de Janeiro wanting a shoe that had left in Magog (Canada). I know it may seem a bit extreme, but even if you only have one closet, having it disorganized is like having your head out of order. As parents often say to their children, a disorganized room = a disorganized life. And so I repeat: having a disorganized closet is to have a messy star of the day wondering what to wear, more probability of being late for work and a more stressed-out mind.

Over the years, we accumulate clothes and accessories that we do not use anymore, either by weight changes, weather, or simply because we forgot we even had it. Most people have pieces in their wardrobe that were never used. There are pieces we get as gifts, which we don’t love but keep anyway and never use. Or a souvenir from a trip, or a shoe we bought in a rush for an event. We reach a point where if we do not stop to analyze and organize our clothes, our closet just keeps growing and growing and invading the space for what is really necessary and what we really use.

Combining all my travels and experiences around the world, the great admiration I have for what is beautiful and experience in choosing fashion pieces for commercial use, I have decided to turn this passion into my new career path. Don’t people say we have to work with what we love? So I think now I got everything together. Working with vogue, respecting every individual likes and dislikes, helping to improve the quality of people’ everyday lives.

The coaching work begins organizing your closet, analyzing piece by piece, from clothes to accessories. We choose and separate in parts. What you like and use, remains. What is no longer in use, we donated; and what is missing, we note to add. So I combine existing looks and suggest the search for other interesting pieces that complement the style of each client. After everything is more organized, we can algo go to the next step and go shopping.

The result is a tidy wardrobe and your style refreshed. A feeling, spoken by my own clients, of complete transformation! A sense of well being and mastery. Stress zero for an agile dress up in the morning before work, on a date with someone special, or just to feel good about yourself.
